ABOUT US
In
1998 Canterbury Guild of Guides celebrated 50 years of guiding in Canterbury
and was given a Special Tourism Award by the South-East England Tourist
Board. In 2008 we will be celebrating 60 years of guiding excellence.
All guides hold the regional Blue Badge or the Canterbury Green Badge delivered by the South-East England Tourist Board, or, more recently, the Green Badge of the national Institute of Tourist Guiding. Many of them guide in a foreign language as well as in English. A number of them have also qualified as Canterbury Cathedral guides.
